Cody - Airlock’s head engineer - also won for The Chats album and their  appearance on The Wiggles album that both won an ARIA.  We are excited that Airlock could help facilitate some of the recordings for King Stingray's album. Congrats to our amazing and deserving engineers at Airlock! Airlock Studios will be hosting a 3-day workshop on the 27th - 29th January 2023 spotlighted for young female identifying Audio Engineers 18+. QLD participants only. Under the tutelage of AWMA/Victoria Music award winning Audio Engineer/Producer - Anna Laverty (Camp Cope, Stella Donnelly, Screamfeeder, Pinch Points, assisting on projects for Florence and The Machine, Bloc Party + many more). The workshop led by course facilitator Emily Hopley, the program will induct two groups of 5 participants (2 participants slots will be held for regional women, expenses paid for), and explore the crucial aspects of engineering, focusing on one song from start to finish (recording and mixing techniques), whilst providing an inside, practical look at how a professional studio operates.
